e-books?

hi guys. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can read e-books on your pc. I mean without transferring it to a portable device. Thanks.

That depends on what the format is. If it's txt or html then no problem. All the rest seem to require some type of translation program--now that I think of it so does html, but you know what I mean.

So, after all that rambling I'll go back to where I started. It all depends on the format.

Yeah, you have to remember that the books will probly in either .txt (notepad) .doc (word) or .pdf (adobe acrobat).
They could be in html to spose.

another format used from time to time is BRF or brille format. this is useful for notetakers but i think there is a program to convert them to txt
